Short description of LLS laboratory

The laser light scattering laboratory was established by Professor Chi WU in 1993 after he joined the Department of Chemistry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The research topics and interests of Professor WU and his team have gradually migrated from polymer to colloids and further to molecular pharmacology and biology. The distinguished signature of their research is a combination of polymer chemistry, polymer physics and molecular biology under one roof to design and execute determined experiments to solve some important problems in polymer, colloids and biology. What they have done can be summarized into one sentence as follows. "They have made significant contributions to profound understanding of conformation, dynamics and phase behavior of polymer chains in solution."
